Josh Rosen has been unable to get a legitimate chance to prove himself in the NFL and it likely won't happen with the Miami Dolphins. According to NFL Network's Mike Giardi, the Dolphins are receiving trade calls regarding Rosen.

What seems like forever ago, Rosen was selected with the No. 10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals. In his rookie season with the Cardinals, there was a ton of turmoil in Arizona.

For starters, the Cardinals fired Steve Wilks as head coach after one season. In addition, they let go of Byron Leftwich as their offensive coordinator too.

After bringing in Kliff Kingsbury to replace Wilks, it was evident that Arizona wanted to go in a different direction at quarterback. With the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cardinals took Kyler Murray. At the same time, they elected to trade Rosen to the Dolphins for a second and fifth-round pick.

While he started in three games last season, Rosen finished with 567 yards, one touchdown, and five interceptions. However, sadly for Rosen, he is going through a similar situation as he did with the Cardinals.

With the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dolphins selected Tua Tagovailoa. Regardless of whether Tagovailoa starts in 2020 or not, Miami believes he is the long-term solution under center.

As a result, that makes Rosen an expendable option at quarterback for the Dolphins. Especially since Ryan Fitzpatrick proved he can man the position in decent fashion in 2019.

Of course, the Dolphins will unlikely be able to net a package of picks comparable to the one they gave up for Rosen in 2019. Nevertheless, Miami appears to be open for business when it comes to the former No. 10 pick.
