There have been plenty of discussions had on where Tom Brady could play in 2020 and the Miami Dolphins have been thrown around as a possible landing spot. Amid the rumors, Brian Flores spoke about the idea of Brady signing with Miami.

“Like I said, I think Fitz has done a really good job,” Flores said via ProFootballTalk. “I agree with Steve as far as, ‘Why would he want to come to Miami?’ I do. I’ll leave it at that. I do agree with Steve.”

Stephen Ross, the Dolphins owner, was recently asked about the idea of Brady joining the Dolphins. He quickly pointed to how the Dolphins were rebuilding and was puzzled at the notion that Brady would even consider them. It seems that Ross and Flores are on the same page when it comes to Brady.

This season, Brady had one of the worst years of his career as he finished with 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Despite his below-average numbers, Flores believes Brady can still produce at a high-level in the NFL.

“I see a very talented player like everyone else sees,” Flores said of Brady. He’s probably one of the best players ever to play. That’s what I see.”

For the time being, the Dolphins are content with bringing back Ryan Fitzpatrick next season. Besides Fitzpatrick, it's probable that Miami adds a quarterback in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Seeing that they have a plan in place already, there's no need to mess that up for a season or two of Brady. Even though it would be startling to see Brady in Miami, Flores isn't interested in making it a reality.
