Throughout the entire season, many have been led to believe that the Miami Dolphins have their sights set on next year's draft. Contrary to belief, head coach Brian Flores told his team not to worry about the draft and to worry about winning.

“He said he’s not worried about the draft,” right tackle Jesse Davis said. “He’s worried about winning games; [that’s] what he told us. He was telling us, ‘We’re trying to win these games, guys. F [expletive] the draft, we’re not worried about that. We’re worried about the next opponent. We’re worried about getting a win.’ He’s done a good job.”

The Dolphins began the season with an embarrassing 0-7 record, putting themselves in prime position to get the No. 1 overall pick in next year's draft. However, over the past two weeks, Miami has been able to string off two consecutive wins over the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.

With the two wins, the Dolphins would now own the fifth-overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Flores doesn't seem to be worried about where his team lands in the draft order.

When the Dolphins hired Flores, there was some skepticism that he could instill a winning culture in Miami. Before arriving in Miami, Flores spent 15 years with the New England Patriots

While the Dolphins only have two wins on the season, it is a positive sign to see the team begin to show some life. It also gives the fans of the team something to look forward to as Flores continues to build the roster he wants.
