Recently, a report surfaced saying that the Miami Dolphins could acquire Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson while sending current starter Tua Tagavailoa to the Washington Football Team. Dolphins head coach Brian Flores indicated a sense of confidence in his quarterback, insisting that he is happy with Tagavailoa under center, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.

“I don’t really get into rumors. Tua is our QB. We’re happy with our QB,” Flores said.

The struggles of Tagavailoa and the Dolphins have made Miami's season rather unenjoyable. The team is 1-5, sitting in last place in the AFC East. In three games this season, Tagavavaoiloa is currently sporting a 2.6% interception percentage, the 12th highest mark of any quarterback who has played multiple games. Flores' classic coach speak and support for his current signal-caller won't do much to quell worries about the team's future.

Meanwhile, the Texans have been looking to move away from Watson, who is under investigation after 22 women accused him of sexual assault and sexual harassment. He is on the team's 53-man roster but has not yet played a single snap. The franchise has made it clear that they are eager to trade him and Watson is looking to be moved as well.

So far, no serious traction has been made on a deal. Teams with quarterback woes like the Dolphins will continue to be linked to Watson until the situation is resolved.
