The Miami Dolphins already have some injury issues before the start of training camp after placing wide receiver DeVante Parker on the Physically Unable to Perform list, per Pro Football Talk. Two of the Dolphins' top receivers are unable to begin training camp, with Parker and Preston Williams both on the PUP list.

Miami's wide receiver room is looking rather thin, as their top two targets begin training camp dealing with injuries, but Will Fuller is also suspended for Week 1 of the season. It'll be interesting to see how the Dolphins fair in the passing game this season, as it's looking like Mike Gesicki is the top target for now.

DeVante Parker played an integral role for this club the last two years and he hopes to break 1,000 yards receiving again like he did in 2019. Even so, the Dolphins receive must make sure he's fully healthy before taking the field. He was unable to play all 16 games last year, as a hamstring injury kept him out for two games. He could be dealing with those same hamstring problems, as those types of injuries can linger. The best thing for him is to rest and get healthy and be ready to play once he's ready.

It'll be interesting to see how the Dolphins respond to these injury woes. Their pass options have dwindled down and Tua Tagovailoa wasn't the most accurate passer during his rookie season. We may see Brian Flores rely on the run game to begin the season, as Myles Gaskin was rather consistent last year. Either way, this is a hurdle the Dolphins must hop over if they hope to improve in 2021. After narrowly missing the postseason last year, Miami is hopeful they can be a playoff contender moving forward. Other players who are on the PUP list include linebacker Elandon Roberts and offensive lineman DJ Fluker.
