Buckle up folks; the DeVante Parker hype train is getting ready to leave the station yet again. The Miami Dolphins receiver is reportedly shining in practice again, which he does seemingly every year.

The young wideout is clearly talented; he's just never been able to put it all together, mostly due to injuries. The Dolphins drafted him in the first round back in 2015, and he hasn't lived up to his potential yet. Parker is always on the verge of a breakout but hasn't quite been able to get there.

Speaking to the media recently, Parker said the most important thing to him was his health. He also sounded quite confident, via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

“I know my ability and know what I can do when I’m healthy and what I can bring to the table.”

It's good to hear, but Parker will need to show it on the field in a regular season game first. Injuries limited him to just 11 games last year and 13 the year before that. Both seasons he was often hampered even when playing. Parker took a backseat in the offense when he was healthy last year, and he wasn't happy with it.

He had a very public falling out with the organization, and his agent called head coach Adam Gase a liar publicly. Gase got fired after the season, presenting a new opportunity for Parker. He'll have a clean slate with new coach Brian Flores, and a chance to make a good first impression. This could finally be the year that Parker breaks out.
