The Miami Dolphins are likely candidates to land a top wide receiver with the No. 3 overall pick in next month's draft, but they also added receiver talent in free agency on Thursday.

Miami has reportedly signed former Houston Texans speedster Will Fuller V to a one-year deal, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa now has a number of possible deep threats with Fuller joining the fray.

DeVante Parker averaged 16.7 yards per reception in 2019 and is a guy who can go get the ball in the air. Preston Williams averaged 16.0 yards per catch this past season, while Fuller went for 16.6 yards per reception and averaged 14.9 yards per reception in five seasons with the Texans.

There is ample upside to Fuller, as his YPC numbers indicate. He was Deshaun Watson's No. 1 target in 2020, racking up 879 yards receiving and eight touchdowns in 11 games.

But there are some question marks. Firstly, Fuller was suspended six games for violating the league's PED policy. He served five games at the end of 2020 and will finish out the suspension in Miami.

It is possible suspension came as a result of Fuller trying to gain a physical edge from a health standpoint. Injuries have really put a damper on the 26-year-old's career, as Fuller has not played more than 11 games in a single season since his rookie year in 2016.

Still, there is no doubting Fuller's big-play potential when he is healthy. He should be a major boom for Tagovailoa as the former Alabama star looks to get more comfortable in his sophomore season with the Dolphins.
