The Miami Dolphins made a blockbuster deal when they traded star left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills to the Houston Texans ahead of the 2019 season.

That deal included a pair of first-rounders (2020 and 2021) and a future second-round pick. It continues to bear fruit for Miami.

The Texans' poor 2020 campaign resulted in the Dolphins getting the No. 3 pick in the draft via Houston. Miami has since moved that pick to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for the No. 12 pick in the 2021 draft, plus first-rounders in 2022 and 2023.

As Adam Schefter of ESPN noted, the Dolphins essentially turned Tunsil into an enormous haul in terms of draft capital.

But the Dolphins were not done making moves on Friday.

Field Yates of ESPN reported Miami moved right back up in the 2021 draft, trading the No. 12 pick it obtained from the Niners–in addition to a 2022 first-rounder and other compensation–to the Philadelphia Eagles for the No. 6 overall selection.

This is like the antithesis of what the Houston Rockets did on Thursday.

The Rockets basically turned James Harden into Kelly Olynyk, Avery Bradley, and a pick swap after trading Victor Oladipo to the Miami Heat ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins have turned Tunsil into the No. 6 pick this season in addition to a wealth of future draft capital.

It's a credit to Chris Grier, who has been one of the busiest executives in the NFL over the course of the past few seasons. Not to mention, the Dolphins are set up to contend in the immediate future.
