Miami Dolphins running back Frank Gore suffered a recent foot injury that cut his season short and now Gore has some decisions to make regarding his future. Gore is a future Hall of Fame caliber player no doubt, but it sounds like Gore isn't calling it a career quite yet.

The 35-year-old running back has had a legendary career and continues to climb the ranks of all-time running back records. Gore ranks fourth on the rushing leaders list with 14,748 yards and if he continues to play out his career he can surely pass Barry Sanders at 15,269.

The fact that Gore played at the high level he did in his 14th season is beyond impressive and at this rate, anything is possible for him.

Gore had his best years in San Francisco. However the veteran running back clearly had some juice left in the tank when he went on to play with the Indianapolis Colts. Gore had a 1,000-yard season with the Colts back in 2o16 and came close to the yardage mark in his other two seasons with the team (967, 961).

Gore had a fantastic 2006 season after gaining the lead back role and ran for a career high 1,695 yards and averaged 5.4 yards per carry that season. It's unlikely Gore will return to that form at his age, but the fact that he wants to play nearing age 36 would be a miraculous feat to achieve.

While his 15th season approaches, Gore will have to decide if it's worth playing in a running back committee as he did this season.
