After a slow start to the 2017 season, the Miami Dolphins have rolled off three straight victories to improve their record to 4-2. In Sunday's win over the rival New York Jets, Miami mounted a comeback without the services of starting quarterback Jay Cutler.

Cutler left the game after cracking several ribs with the Dolphins trailing by two scores. Backup QB Matt Moore took the reins of the offense and quickly led Miami back, winning by a final score of 31-28 behind his 13-for-21 passing for 188 yards and two touchdowns.

The injury will keep Cutler out of tonight's game against the Baltimore Ravens, but according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, he'll be ready to return to action next week.

Despite cracked ribs, Dolphins QB Jay Cutler is expected to be available a week from Sunday vs. Raiders, per source. Out tonight.

The Dolphins offense has been relatively stagnant this season, but clutch defensive play and close wins have kept their playoff hops intact.

So far this season, Cutler has compiled 995 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and five interceptions; not exactly the kind of numbers the Dolphins were hoping for when they signed him after Ryan Tannehill went down before the season. He had one of his most prolific seasons in 2015 for the Chicago Bears when current Dolphins head coach Adam Gase was the offensive coordinator.
