An aching shoulder has been bothering running back Kenyan Drake since last week. He then exited the Miami Dolphins game against Indianapolis Colts, Sunday after re-aggravating this injury. Still, Drake chose to return and managed to register four more yards in their 27-24 defeat.

Though hurt, the 24-year-old is still expected to gear up, Sunday against the Buffalo Bills as per Charean Williams of NBCSports.

“Football is a physical game, so everybody is nicked up,” Drake told reporters Monday. “I’m doing my best to be in the game, so I can help this team win more games.” “Everybody is hurt, so I’m going to be out there,” he added.

In his three years in the league, Drake has been durable. He has never missed a game since coming over in 2016. His best season came in 2017 for the Dolphins in which he finished with 644 yards on 133 carries.

He had also had a couple of impressive games from the previous season. Drake rushed for 120 yards against the Denver Broncos and 114 yards against the New England Patriots last December, the performance displayed how reliable the third-year man can be on the ground.
