Isaiah Wilson was given a second chance in the NFL by being traded to the Miami Dolphins, but his stay in South Beach didn't last long. After a video surfaced of Wilson dancing shirtless on a vehicle surfaced — among other reasons — the Dolphins have released Wilson, per the Miami Herald's Adam Beasley.

Earlier this offseason, Wilson was traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Dolphins, with both teams swapping seventh-round picks. Tennessee took Wilson with the 29th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Georgia in hopes he could fill a need on the offensive line.

However, Wilson would deal with struggles off of the field as he continued to have run-ins with the law, including an arrest for a DUI last September. Amid his shortcomings, Wilson logged just four total snaps with the Titans during his rookie season.

Following his troubled first year in the NFL, the Dolphins thought they would be able to work with Wilson to help him get his career back on track. But a series of events, which included showing late to his physical and failing to arrive for a voluntary workout he scheduled with the organization, led to his release from Miami.

It goes without saying that Wilson could use some aid in whatever he is battling off of the gridiron. Upon his release from the Dolphins, Wilson will now hit waivers, allowing any team to take a chance on signing him. Before anyone signs the former first-round pick, hopefully, he's able to get the help he needs to get his mind in the right place.
