The Miami Dolphins offer every appearance of tanking the 2019 season and rebuilding their roster through the 2020 NFL Draft. Thanks to the latest trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick, they are now in a position to make a big harvest next April.

Adam Schefter confirmed that the team has three picks in the first round of the 2020 Draft. While they will surely snag a quarterback with the highest pick, the other picks will most likely be used on positions they feel will be hard to fill via free agency.

The first pick came from the Houston Texans when they got a huge number of picks for Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills. The Texans are seemingly playoff-bound, so there's a big chance that the pick will land mid- to late-first round.

Their latest pick came from the Pittsburgh Steelers after trading safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to them. They will be hoping that this pick will land in the top ten when the lottery has been decided.

Their hopes aren't unfounded, though. Ben Roethlisberger is out for the season as he needs surgery on his elbow to perform to the expected level. While Mason Rudolph is a reliable backup option, there's no question that the Steelers will likely lose games and finish outside the AFC North standings.

Dolphins fans are hopeful that they will be able to get Tua Tagovailoa in the draft as neither Ryan Fitzpatrick nor Josh Rosen are playing up to the expectations set. The other two picks can go anywhere, though, as Brian Flores admitted that the team needs a lot of work.

Dolphins fans have a long season ahead of them, but they're hoping that the picks their team got will make everything better come September next year.
