Defensive end Trey Flowers is drawing a lot of interest from teams, most recently the Miami Dolphins. Plenty of teams could use the edge rushing ability that he possesses.

Connor Hughes tweeted out the Dolphins interest in the edge rusher, but they are not the only team interested. The New York Jets, who appear interested in anyone who can fit in pads, are also interested in bringing in Flowers.

There is a lot to take in there, but it starts with a simple premise that the Jets want Flowers, Dante Fowler, and Anthony Barr. Or at least will be making a solid run at all of them.

The good news for all these teams is that this is a loaded edge rushing draft class. Unfortunately, the Dolphins are at pick number 13, so the top talent might already be gone. They will also need to consider taking a quarterback, if one is available, should they decide to move on from Ryan Tannehill.

The Jets are in a much better place to get a solid defensive edge rusher in the draft at the number three position. Sam Darnold allows them to focus on this position in the upcoming draft if they want to.

There is a chance that Cameron Wake will be heading elsewhere, which is where this gap is coming from. By all accounts, the Dolphins should go after Flowers very aggressively. He is by far the best option for Miami, and one they need to approach as if losing is not an option.
