It looks like the Arizona Cardinals have found a taker for Josh Rosen after all.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Miami Dolphins will be acquiring Rosen for the 48th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft. While nothing is official yet, Pro Football Talk says the deal is “tentatively done.”

Reports surfaced last night that he Cardinals waited until the last possible minute before the draft to begin fielding offers for Rosen, which was odd considering they had Kyler Murray in their sights all along.

To no one's surprise, Arizona ultimately ended up taking Murray with the No. 1 overall pick, signaling the end of Rosen's very short stint with the Cardinals.

Rosen, who played his collegiate football at UCLA, was originally selected by the Cards with the 10th overall pick in the NFL Draft last spring. The Cardinals actually traded up just to take Rosen, so the fact that they recouped only a second-rounder back has to sting.

The 22-year-old had a very disappointing rookie campaign, making 12 starts and throwing for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions while completing just 55.2 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 66.7.

Still, for a Dolphins team that is in desperate need of a quarterback, this is not a bad move.

Miami parted ways with Ryan Tannehill earlier in the offseason, and after striking out on a signal-caller in free agency, the fact that the Dolphins are reportedly dealing for Rosen should shock no one.

The ‘Phins are coming off of a 2018 campaign in which they won seven games.
