The Miami Dolphins aren't giving up on Teddy Bridgewater. Despite reports that he'd prefer to stay with the New Orleans Saints, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald stated on Twitter that they are making another push.

Bridgewater was reportedly staying in New Orleans despite the Dolphins offering him a bigger contract, and possibly a starting job right away. This makes it seem as if Miami is upping their offer to the quarterback. Of course, that's not necessarily the case, as they could simply be trying to persuade him with what they already have.

Bridgewater is a decisive figure at the moment. Not many would deny the talent and potential he possessed a few seasons ago. However, an injury that almost cost him his career and his leg changed that.

Now there's speculation as to if he'll ever be the quarterback many were expecting. You wouldn't blame anyone for being wary after such a scary injury.

He spent last season as the backup to Drew Brees on the Saints. The guess was that would be a one year situation, as multiple teams would be interested in him this offseason.

However, Bridgewater seemed to like the locker room culture in New Orleans and the prospect of taking over for Brees in a few seasons. Due to that, it was reported that he'd be staying with the Saints instead of jetting off to another team.

This would be an interesting move for the Dolphins. Clearly Ryan Tannehill hasn't gotten them to the promise land. Bridgewater is younger (26 compared to 30) and with a lot of the same potential people hoped for Tannehill.

If the Dolphins do manage to snatch Bridgewater up from the Saints, it could drastically change their offseason plans. Having a new quarterback in place should give new life to the franchise and allow them to look for help in other areas in the upcoming draft.
