The Miami Dolphins acquired quarterback Josh Rosen from the Arizona Cardinals on Friday, sending the 62nd overall pick to the Cardinals in return.

With Arizona taking Oklahoma signal-caller Kyler Murray with the first overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, there wasn't much room for Rosen anymore, so the Cardinals decided to move him, and the Dolphins were there to scoop him up.

Remember: the Cards took Rosen with the 10th overall pick in last year's draft, so he was originally taken by Arizona with the intention of him being the franchise quarterback.

So, are the Dolphins completely dedicated to Rosen moving forward?

Well, the jury is still out on that one, and Miami isn't even opposed to doing exactly what the Cardinals just did:

“Every team in the league is looking for that guy that’s going to lead them to championships,” said Dolphins general manager Chris Grier, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. “And so for us, we’re in a position where we’re trying to find that guy, like a lot of teams in the league. So yeah, it was an easy decision. And it doesn’t stop us from doing anything in the future. Who knows? If things go well and we feel he’s the guy, who knows? But it doesn’t stop us from doing anything.”

You can understand Miami's trepidation on Rosen, as the 22-year-old is coming off of a rough rookie season in which he made 12 starts and threw for 2,278 yards, 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions while completing 55.2 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 66.7.

But, given that the Dolphins only gave up a late second-rounder for a potential franchise quarterback, this seems like a move that is worth the risk.
