Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is about to complete his 15th NFL season, which has led some to wonder whether or not he will decide to come back in 2020.

However, Fitzpatrick does not seem to think it will be a particularly tough choice.

“Physically I feel great. So there’s always different things that go into it and you’re always drained at the end of the season emotionally,” Fitzgerald said, according to Adam H. Beasley of The Miami Herald. “So there’s a lot of stuff that goes into it but I still love playing, so it’s going to hard to, uh, let’s see. I don’t know that it’ll be a difficult decision. I just think that I’ll go through the due process and figure things out.”

In 14 appearances and 12 starts this season, Fitzpatrick has thrown for 3,209 yards, 19 touchdowns and 13 interceptions while completing 61.4 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 84.2.

The 37-year-old is under contract for next year, and $1.5 million of his $5.5 million base salary is already guaranteed.

Given the Dolphins' dire quarterback situation, Miami would almost certainly be just fine having Fitzpatrick back for another year, even if it's just in a bench role.

The Dolphins made a draft weekend trade for Josh Rosen last spring, but Rosen has not exactly worked out in his first season with the club, which could lead to Miami looking elsewhere for another signal-caller this offseason.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has played for eight different franchises over the course of his lengthy NFL career.

The Dolphins are just 4-11 on the season.
