Miami Dolphins veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has had an interesting NFL career. He has been the definition of a “journeyman” and has played for a ton of different teams. Now with the Dolphins, Fitzpatrick made NFL history this week against the Cincinnati Bengals.

That's right, Fitzpatrick became the only quarterback in NFL history to throw four or more touchdowns in a single game for five different teams. ESPN's NFL Twitter account shared the impressive feat.

Fitzpatrick has had an intriguing season with the Dolphins this year. He has started for the majority of the year, but head coach Brian Flores has also given second-year quarterback Josh Rosen a decent amount of playing time.

This could very well be playing the last season of his career as a starting quarterback. Miami is going to go in a different direction this coming offseason. Fitzpatrick could have a few more seasons left as a backup quarterback, but the end of “Fitzmagic” is coming quickly.

On the year in 14 games, Fitzpatrick has thrown for 3,209 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. The numbers don't look amazing, but they have been solid. It would certainly be a fitting way to end his tenure as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

All of that being said, congratulations are in order to Fitzpatrick on making his mark on league history. If this is the end, we should all be thankful for the years that we got to see him create this record.
