Another rookie quarterback has gone down to injury today. This time, however, it doesn't seem to be serious, as Miami Dolphins first-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was taken out of the game.

Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced the Alabama product due to an injury after suffering at the hands of Bradley Chubb (via Mike Klis of 9News).

The injury does not appear to be serious, however, and is a precautionary move by head coach Brian Flores.

Tagovailoa has been great thus far in his NFL career. Playing in four games, he has thrown for 519 yards and five touchdowns while winning every game he's started thus far.

The biggest statement win thus far was over the Los Angeles Rams in his first start of his career.

Dolphins fans are certainly hoping that Tua's injury is not serious and he will be back on the field in no time.

Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins later lost to the Broncos by a touchdown margin. After the game, though, Flores announced that Fitzpatrick was not the permanent starter (via Adam Schefter of ESPN).

The fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Tagovailoa figures to be the face of the Dolphins moving forward. One bad game will not be the end of his career with Miami.
