The Miami Dolphins hope that Tua Tagovailoa can be their future franchise quarterback and they're already feeling the effects of his arrival. According to Adam Silverstein of CBS Sports, Tagovailoa currently has the top-two selling jerseys on NFL Shop.

Less than a week ago, Tagovailoa revealed that he was going to be wearing No. 1 with the Dolphins. Once Tagovailoa made the announcement, it's evident that fans began clamoring for his jersey.
To no one's surprise, Tagovailoa's white No. 1 home jersey is the top-selling jersey on NFL Shop. Besides the white No. 1 jersey, the aqua No. 1 jersey seems to be a popular choice for fans.
Just a couple of weeks ago, the Dolphins selected Tagovailoa with the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Despite his injury concerns, Miami knew they couldn't afford to pass on the Alabama signal-caller.
Upon his selection by the Dolphins, it remains to be seen if Tagovailoa is the starting quarterback in Week 1. While he continues to recover from his 2019 hip injury, the left-handed quarterback could spend some time behind Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Still, the Dolphins took Tagovailoa with the idea of him being the long-term solution at quarterback. Therefore, once he's healthy enough to play and they are comfortable with where he's at physically, Miami will likely insert him into the starting lineup.
Regardless of when Tagovailoa makes his debut, he's already fan favorite before he even takes a snap for the Dolphins. Seeing that he has the top-two selling jerseys, even fans of other teams are ordering Tagovailoa jerseys this offseason.
