The Miami Dolphins selected Tua Tagovailoa with the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and it didn't take long for him to bring some humor to the fans in South Beach. Following the draft, Tagovailoa and Ravens passer Lamar Jackson hilariously reacted to a famous lookalike for the rookie quarterback.

For those that don't know, Brucie was a character in Adam Sandler's 2005 movie The Longest Yard. In the movie, Brucie is one of the prisoners who tries out for the football team. Unlike Tagovailoa though, Brucie doesn't particularly have a strong arm.

On the other hand, Tagovailoa brings a new, fresh face to the Dolphins franchise. After a remarkable collegiate career at Alabama, the left-handed gunslinger is hoping to turn Miami into a playoff team in the near future.

In college, Tagovailoa finished with a total of 6,806 passing yards and 76 touchdowns. Unfortunately for him, injuries derailed his final season at Alabama, causing the Crimson Tide to miss the college football playoffs.

Nonetheless, Tagovailoa still ended up being taken in the first round, making him the second quarterback taken in the entire draft. Besides the Brucie tweet, Tagovailoa also asked fans what number he should wear with the Dolphins. Of course, the No. 13 jersey he wore in college isn't available due to it being retired for Dan Marino. Said Tagovailoa to ESPN,

“For me, I'm not too worried about what number I have. I understand No. 13 is retired, and it should be … Dan Marino, he's the GOAT. He's like the mayor out there, and I have much respect for him. Whatever number I'm given by that organization, if it's 78 or 99 — I'll wear it. It doesn't matter.”

Regardless of what jersey number he wears, Tagovailoa is going to see comparisons to Brucie all season.
