It looks like Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and head coach Brian Flores already have a strong relationship after two games.

Tagovailoa, who is 2-0 as a starter in the NFL, gave the Week 9 game ball to Flores after the Dolphins defeated the Arizona Cardinals. The two hugged it out after Miami's win on the road, which improved the club to 5-3 on the season.

During his media session on Wednesday, Tagovailoa sent a heartfelt message to Flores, one which Dolphins fans will love to hear (via NFL Films).

The Dolphins have been looking for a franchise quarterback ever since Hall of Famer Dan Marino retired. While it's still very early in his career—it's been two starts after all—it appears Tua Tagovailoa has all the right characteristics to be Miami's starting quarterback for the next decade or so.

Brian Flores, who made the bold move of benching Ryan Fitzpatrick for Tagovailoa, has turned the Dolphins' franchise around after taking over for Adam Gase. While they likely won't win the AFC East since the Buffalo Bills are 7-2 and playing excellent football, Miami could clinch one of the Wild Card spots in the AFC with the way the defense is playing.

Tagovailoa is only going to get better moving forward, too. He will look to improve to 3-0 as a starter in Week 10 when the Dolphins take on the Los Angeles Chargers, who are also led by a rookie quarterback in Justin Herbert.
