The Miami Dolphins managed to rally and defeat the lowly New York Jets in Week 15 to keep their winning streak alive at six games. Week 16 pits the Dolphins against the New Orleans Saints, and the team received a mixed bag of injury updates ahead of the Monday night battle.

Via Dolphins reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques, Brian Flores told the media that Miami wide receiver Will Fuller is now expected to miss the remainder of the season after sustaining a setback to his lingering fingers injury.

Fuller has featured in just three games for the Dolphins as he's battled the broken finger throughout the year. He's recorded just four receptions on eight targets this year, tallying 26 receiving yards and zero touchdowns in his debut season with the Dolphins.

While Fuller's campaign is likely coming to an early end, practically before it got the chance to really get underway, the Dolphins did get some beneficial news, too.

Star rookie receiver Jaylen Waddle is expected to return from the COVID-19/Reserve list, along with running back Phillip Lindsay. The pair will provide Tua Tagovailoa and Co. with some much-needed reinforcements.

Both Lindsay and Waddle turned in positive COVID-19 tests and as a result were forced to miss the Week 15 clash with the Jets. While the Dolphins were able to edge out a win, doing the same without Waddle in the mix against the Saints could be a lot more challenging.

This season, Waddle has been far and away the most targeted player in Miami's offense. The rookie has 86 receptions on 114 targets, racking up 849 yards and four touchdowns across 13 games. His return to action in Week 16 will give the team a significantly better chance at increasing their win streak to seven games when they travel to New Orleans on Monday.
