Out of nowhere came more trade rumors regarding Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. After months and months of conversations, a report came out about the Miami Dolphins emerging as a candidate to acquire the Texans disgruntled star who is in the thick of investigations.
But, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores answered a question about the situation after their preseason finale against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. His answer was, well, indifferent.
#Dolphins HC Brian Flores was asked about all the Deshaun Watson chatter: He said he won't get into reports and speculation. "Any conversations that we have or don't have with another club will stay internal. That will remain the case."

What exactly that means is confusing. Are the Dolphins considering a Watson deal? On the surface, trading for Watson is a huge move. However, the investigations are still ongoing, and there is a strong likelihood that Watson doesn't play this season–and maybe next.
The Dolphins head coach answered another question about whether or not there is interest in Watson, and he didn't give any slight clue on which way these trade rumors are headed.

Very confusing stuff that has circulated over the past 48 hours, and if Watson is on the move, then the Dolphins are surely risking a ton to acquire him. When he is on the field he is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but the future for him is in serious doubt.
Only time will tell if a deal is done or not, but Flores was tipping his hand in any way– if, in fact, there is a hand to tip.
