Deshaun Watson's departure from the Houston Texans remains inevitable. As it is, the highly sought-after quarterback has been on the trade radar of more than a few opposing teams in the league. Right now, the Miami Dolphins have emerged as the latest team that is looking to join in on the Watson sweepstakes.

This report comes via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald:

But according to a source with direct knowledge, a high-ranking team official has told at least one outsider that the Dolphins expect to be in the mix to acquire Watson if the Texans make him available (which they have not, to this point).

At the moment, it remains unclear what the Dolphins intend to offer in a possible trade deal with the Texans. However, with rumors circulating about the team's willingness to move incoming second-tear quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, it is very much possible that the former University of Alabama standout is included in Miami's trade offer for Watson.

This is not the first time Miami has been linked to Watson. As a matter of fact, a previous report indicated that Watson himself is open to the possibility of joining the Dolphins because he “likes the culture he has observed under Miami head coach Brian Flores and there are no state income taxes in Florida.”

It is worth noting, however, that for their part, The Texans have remained adamant in their desire to keep Watson in Houston. Unfortunately, the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback does not seem to feel the same way.
