Virtually nothing went right for the Miami Dolphins during the 2019 season. Sunday's comeback in the final minutes versus the New England Patriots won't erase that, but the sequence of events that culminated with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick finding tight end Mike Gesicki for a touchdown with 24 seconds left was undoubtedly the team's capstone moment of the year.

After a thorough 43-0 throttling Week 2 back in Miami, the Dolphins were not about to let the Patriots cruise into the postseason lightly. Fitzpatrick has been battling Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Co. for more than a decade, and while Sunday's comeback may not have been the most impactful upset, it may have been his sweetest amid a rough season.

New England is still set up for a deep run toward another Super Bowl ring, but a rare home loss (in which they had the majority of their allotment of talent) right before the postseason is uncharted territory for a team used to unparalleled dominance.
