Dota Plus subscribers have new things to play with, as well as returning features that have been well missed. The latest Dota Plus Update for Summer 2021 brings back the ability to high five with both friends and foes. It also returns the ability to plant your Guild's Banner anywhere on the map.
Dota Plus is a premium subscription service for players. Players can earn Shards, which they can use to purchase exclusive treasures, save progression for hero leveling, and for recording hero milestones with relics. It also unlocks voice lines for the heroes you use for your chat wheel, allowing you to immerse yourself as a true hero in Dota. Furthermore, players can learn from AI machine learning with the Plus Assistant, which coaches players for skill and item builds. Finally, it unlocks a whole slew of post-game statistics that are not available to regular users, giving you more insight on your gameplay and performance.
As for new things to enjoy, Valve has updated the selection of Seasonal Treasure. The Dota Plus exclusive treasures feature sets for Chaos Knight, Phantom Assassin, Outworld Destroyer, Wraith King, Sven, Naga Siren, Brewmaster, Huskar, and Storm Spirit. It also features an Ultra Rare Trod & Cheddar. To help you collect Dota Plus Shards to purchases these treasure chests, you can do the newly-updated Seasonal Quests. You can earn up to 115,200 Shards, which is equivalent to 115 Treasure Chests.
Guild Rewards also receive a facelift. The emoticons, sprays, and chat wheel voice lines have rotated out, featuring new cosmetics for high-tier guild members to enjoy.
