Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has served inspiration to any number of aspiring youngsters through the years. That would appear to include rapper Drake's 3-year-old son, Adonis.

Drake shared a humorous clip of Adonis watching some of LeBron's career highlights. Adonis appears totally enraptured with James, keeping his eyes glued to the screen before letting out an emphatic “Oh my God!” at the end.

It's adorable:

Adonis appears to be developing quite a love for basketball.

Drake had previously shared a video of Adonis shooting on a mini-hoop and counting his made baskets. Maybe Adonis will look to emulate LeBron James after watching some of these highlights.

There are certainly worse people to aspire to.

LeBron has had one of the greatest careers in NBA history. Some would argue he is the best player in the history of the game.

The Akron, Ohio native was arguably the most-hyped NBA prospect of all time when he entered the 2003 draft following his senior year of high school. He has somehow exceeded that hype and continues to play at a high level in his 18th season in the league.

LeBron James’ stats sit at an impressive 25.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game this season. He recently returned from an ankle sprain that cost him over a month of the season, but had to sit during Monday's win over the Denver Nuggets to rest the ankle. It's hardly the worst move, considering the Lakers need LeBron to be as close to 100 percent as possible heading into the playoffs.

The 36-year-old is grinding to add to his NBA legacy. He is also leaving youngsters like Adonis awestruck with his basketball exploits, both past and present.
