It’s no secret that Drake is the biggest – if not one of the biggest – bandwagon sports fan in history. He just does not have the concept of being loyal to one team. Drake has cheered or donned jerseys for/of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, the Texas A&M football program, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Edmonton Oilers, the Toronto Raptors, and the Philadelphia 76ers just to name a few. Some people say that his obsessions with so many teams is a good thing, but most others would rather categorize it as “Fake Love.”

Drake, however, seemed to have elevated his sports infidelity when a photo of him rocking a LeBron James’ St. Vincent high school jersey while also having a Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant’s jersey numbers surfaced online.

What are you doing Drake? That’s like cheering for both Boris Spassky and Bobby Fischer during the Cold War.

Considering the intense rivalry that has developed between James and the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors, what Drake just did was a heinous crime in the world of sports. It’s arguably the worst behavior a sports fan could have.

No matter how much people would castigate Drake, it’s unlikely that he will change his ways. Rooting for a lot of teams just seems to be an organic thing for the rapper, who is currently on cloud nine after apparently winning a bet when the Alabama Crimson Tide won Monday in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

Say what you want to say about Drake, but for him, more teams mean more life.
