In Sunday's Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the Golden State Warriors to the tune of a 133-105 victory. One play that stood out beyond the normal play of the game was Warriors forward Draymond Green kicking Thunder center Steven Adams between the legs.

The play, which can be seen here, earned Green a flagrant-1 foul. However, he told reporters after the game that he does not expect to receive any further punishment from the NBA. In fact, Green expects the flagrant foul to be rescinded:

“I thought it would probably get rescinded… (I don’t know if) he’s trying to have kids one day… I’m not going to try to do that on the basketball court. He fouled me, my leg went up.”

According to Green, he didn't even realize that he kicked Adams in the midsection:

“I didn’t, honestly, I didn’t know I hit him. I walked to the three-point line… turned around and he’s on the floor, like ‘what happened? … I looked at the replay like, ‘uh oh.'”

When asked again by reporters if he thought the NBA would even take a look at the play, he replied:

“(I was) not trying to kick him, just following through on the shot… I don't think I'll get suspended. I don’t know how anyone could possibly say I did that on purpose.”

The NBA will almost undoubtedly review the play, especially after the Cleveland CavaliersDahntay Jones was just suspended for his actions in the Eastern Conference Finals.
