The 2017 NBA Finals may not even come down to a Game 5, as the Golden State Warriors have put the Cleveland Cavaliers into a deeply frightening 3-0 hole. So with Draymond Green‘s luck, hopefully he won’t even have to worry about getting suspended in and foreboding Game 5 this year.

When looking back on the moment that got him into trouble last year, he remains adamant on his feelings that the Warriors lost that series because of him, but shares a new perspective.

“I don’t regret it. Like, I just don’t,” Green told ESPN’s Zach Lowe. “Some would say maybe I’m wrong for not regretting it. I don’t live my life with regrets. I move on. It was never like, ‘Oh man, I cost these guys a championship. Now, do I believe in my heart that I did cost us? Yeah, I do. Absolutely. But I still don’t regret that play.”

Green notes how LeBron James stepping over him Allen Iverson-style was disrespectful, and if he had to relive the moment, he would probably do the same thing.

Perhaps James will have to get in the heads of these Warriors like he did to Draymond if he wants to salvage some type of comeback. Either way, the looming talent riddled throughout the Warriors bench will likely prove to be enough to cover any foul trouble.
