Throughout his NBA career, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has never been one to hold his tongue.

Green was at it again going off on Conor McGregor after he saw the UFC star wearing a No. 23 Warriors jersey that he presumed was his own. McGregor fired off a series of tweets aimed at the two-time All-Star slamming as someone he didn't know.

It didn't take long for Green to issue a strong response back in the comments section, according to the New York Daily News.

“@thenotoriousmma hahahahaha that number won't be worn again when I'm finished with it clown!” Green said. “Gold medalist, NBA champ, all star, DPOY etc.!!! Hahahaha stop it boy! Nate Diaz (Bay Area stand up) whooped you in your ring!”

The 27-year-old has certainly racked up quite a strong NBA career up to this point in time. He is a two-time NBA champion, a Defensive Player of the Year award winner this past season, and has a pair of All-Star selections.

Meanwhile, McGregor has more than held up his own as well. He is the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two different weight classes while main-eventing four out of the top six highest selling pay-per-views that the company has ever had. He was able to redeem his loss to Nate Diaz by decision.

All of this chatter should continue to heat up especially with McGregor set to take on Floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring next month.
