After suffering a Grade 1 MCL sprain in Game 4 against the Rockets, Steph Curry was seen in tears on the court. However, teammate Draymond Green was quickly there to pick him back up.

Green took the time to write about the moment in a playoff diary for ESPN.

“Get out of here. Don't let them see you like this. Don't let them see you cry. We will hold you down. We got this. We will win this for you,” Green said to Curry.

“What made me say what I said to him on the bench was that I could see the pain. He wasn't crying because he was worried about his knee, he was crying out of frustration and not being able to be out there to help his brothers.”

“You go do what you got to do. We will go take care of this business. When I said that to him, he didn't say a word. I told him to put the shirt over his face. He put the shirt over his head and took off walking.”

After the injury, the Warriors came back into the game with a vengeance, outscoring the Rockets 41-20 in the third and 24-18 in the fourth. They won the game 121-94 to take a 3-1 series lead.

The reigning MVP is expected to be out for two weeks before being evaluated again. Game 5 of the series will take place tonight in Oakland, beginning at 7:30pm (PST).

The Warriors have been successful against the Rockets without Curry in the past and are still expected to take the series. The questions now becomes whether Curry will be able to play at all for the rest of the playoffs and how far the team can make it without him.
