The Houston Rockets made a major splash last week with the acquisition of point guard Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers, pairing him alongside fellow All-Star guard James Harden.

Since then, there has been plenty of reaction around the league concerning the move. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was recently asked for his opinion on the trade.

“It's really not my job to dissect the trade or figure out how it works. It's on them to figure out how it works. They are two great players and two great competitors.”

The Rockets now have two of the most dynamic players in the league that have both thrived on handling the ball in great capacities. This will indubitably create a adjustment period between both players to see who will garner the larger share of that duty on the offensive end of the floor.

If the duo is able to figure out a way to play off of each other next season, it could make Houston one of the top teams in the Western Conference. There is no question that they will be an even greater offensive juggernaut, but they are still another star player away from truly competing with the likes of the Warriors.

For the time being, the addition of Paul has at least made them one of the potential powerhouses in the West.
