Tickle about just no one shocked, but just about everyone fancy. The Duke Blue Devils now have the No. 1 ranked 2020 college basketball recruiting class.

This movement among grassroots gurus' boards happened a few hours after five-star Jaemyn Brakefield committed to the program on Friday. His commitment came only a few hours after the program offered the youngster.

As the tweet mentions, Brakefield joins a slew of very talented high school players. It's a good mix of guys who have NBA-level talent, but also a few others who should end up playing four years of college basketball. It lends credence to our idea that Coach K is taking a more balanced approach on the recruiting trail.

Suggesting balance isn't mean to infer the Duke Blue Devils aren't getting top players, either. They clearly as, as highlighted by the fact most reputable recruiting service outlets have their 2020 class pegged as the best in the entire country.

What's also interesting to note about Duke's 2020 grouping is that there's already a handful of guys committed. It's only October, so that's relatively shocking just how full a class it is this early in the stage of the game.

Nevertheless, good for the Duke Blue Devils. They needed to catch a good a break, I guess?
