With the recent release of NBA 2K18, many players were asked for their opinions on the 2K rating they received. When Dwyane Wade, of the Chicago Bulls, was asked about his rating this year, he didn't seem to happy, as he reflected on a rating of 84. According to William Lou of The Score, Wade tweeted:

In addition, a comparison was made between the rating of Wade and that of Lebron James‘, of the Cleveland Cavaliers, impressive 97 2K rating:

No doubt will Dwyane Wade go down in history as one of the most explosive and versatile shooting guards. However, since Wade was traded to the Chicago Bulls, the guard has not been able to find the game he once awed his fans with, especially when playing along side former Miami Heat teammates LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, and so on. Consequently, his NBA 2K rating reflected his performance of this past season.

Lou stated:

By on-off metrics, he had a slightly negative influence on both the offense and defense for an uninspiring Chicago Bulls team last season.

With the Bulls bringing in new talent, Wade must serve as the leader for the team, especially with Jimmy Butler and Rajon Rondo being traded. In order for him to receive the rating he thinks he deserves, fans and the entire league need to see the old D-Wade.
