Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade is the latest NBA personality to come out with his own reaction to the tragic killing of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota on Sunday. Wade took to Twitter to commend the Minnesota Timberwolves' decision to postpone their Monday night clash against the Brooklyn Nets in the wake of the incident.

Wade needed just one word to show his support for the Wolves' recent act:

Daunte Wright was shot and killed by a police officer on Sunday following a routine traffic stop. The victim, who reportedly had an outstanding warrant, tried to flee the scene when he was inadvertently shot. The officer was allegedly reaching for her taser when she accidentally drew her firearm. Wright was shot once, but he died shortly after the incident.

Mass protestors have taken the streets of Minnesota in the wake of the tragic shooting. This is the latest in a string of similar incidents that have mired the nation over the past 12 months.

There have also been similar reactions from across the NBA. After himself calling out the “deplorable” incident, San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich led his team to a powerful gesture prior to Monday's matchup against the Denver Nuggets. Players of both teams locked arms at center court during the playing of the national anthem as they showed their solidarity to those mourning Wright's death. Likewise, Sixers head coach Doc Rivers came out with a powerful message addressing what many consider to be another act of police brutality against the African American community.
