In the early minutes of the first quarter between the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder and Chicago Bulls on Monday night, Dwyane Wade appears to suffer some sort of neck injury and was forced to head to the locker room.

The 12-time All-Star collided with his teammate, Nikola Mirotic, and fell to the floor. It was not the hardest of hits but he quickly grabbed on to his neck and grimaced in pain.

Wade spent a few minutes in the locker room but has already returned to the bench.

His condition will be something worth monitoring as the Bulls are on a back-to-back set and will face the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.

UPDATE:

Dwyane Wade emerged from the locker room and was able to return to the game.
