Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat trolled former teammate Isaiah Thomas' height on Instagram.
Wade posted an Instagram story of a shop and tagged Thomas. The shop appears to specialize in suits for men 5'8 and under.
Thomas, who had a short stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers along with Wade, is listed as 5'9. No one really knows what Thomas' real height is except for his teammates and the rest of the NBA. Some believe that he's way shorter than his listed height.
Be that as it may, Wade was just having fun with Thomas. In their short time together as teammates, they've developed a bond and are comfortable enough to poke fun at one another. Besides Thomas' height has been a source of jokes by his friends and teammates.
He's been a good sport throughout. He knows that his height is his reality and challenge at the same time. But given all that he's accomplished so far, no one sees his height as a hindrance anymore.
He's still nursing an injury and is expected to be back in the Denver Nuggets lineup by December. For the past few years, the former MVP candidate has been off the radar. But knowing Thomas, once he steps back on the floor, he'll prove that he can still be one of the top guards in the league.
