EA Play Live unveiled the official reveal trailer for GRID: Legends, the newest game in the GRID series, coming in 2022. In it, we saw how Codemasters evolved the GRID franchise for the new generation of consoles. When GRID: Legends hits stores next year, it will be the first GRID game to have a dramatic story, told through a “fly-on-the-wall” documentary style.

GRID: Legends will continue a quarter-century legacy of Codemaster racing games. EA Games and Codemasters went all-in with the game's presentation. The game's story mode even features an innovative virtual production, with a world-class crew and cast starring Sex Education‘s Ncuti Gatwa. Action-packed gameplay, increasing motorsport variety, and customization to your heart's content – all of these come packaged in Legends.

The official reveal trailer focuses on the game's story, as it's the biggest addition to the game. But GRID: Legends continues the tradition of high-quality racing with a variety of racing disciplines, vehicles, and tracks.

GRID: Legends will feature a wide variety of vehicles and tracks, with locations ranging from US to Russia. From one-seaters to classic touring cars, Codemasters prepared all sorts of cars for players to drive with. Players will be able to upgrade all their cars as they progress, enabling players to fine-tune their vehicles.

GRID: Legends will feature over 100 cars and over 130 tracks at launch. But on top of these, players can also customize their racing experience in the game's Race Creator. Drift Events return, where players can check out Codemasters-designed custom tracks. But players can make their own races, too. The possibilities are endless, and players can try all of them out when it launches in 2022.
