Earlier on Friday, a report surfaced that the Philadelphia Eagles were looking to move oft-injured wide receiver Alshon Jeffery and that Jeffery would welcome a trade.

Well, at least one of those things is apparently untrue, as Jeffery's agent, Tory Dandy, has taken to Twitter to say that his client “loves being in the city of Philly and playing for the Eagles.”

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean the feeling is mutual.

Jeffery was limited to just 10 games in 2019 due to injury issues, finishing with 43 catches for 490 yards and four touchdowns in what was his least productive season since his rookie year back in 2012.

The Eagles initially acquired Jeffery via free agency in March 2017, and in his first season with the club, the wide out actually remained healthy, playing in every game and hauling in 57 receptions for 789 yards and nine scores while helping Philadelphia win its first Super Bowl title.

Jeffery then began to experience some injuries in 2018, as he missed three games. However, he was productive during his time on the field, catching 65 passes for 843 yards while reaching the end zone six times.

The 30-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of South Carolina, was originally selected by the Chicago Bears in the second round (45th pick overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.

He spent the first five years of his career with the Bears, making the Pro Bowl in 2013 after snaring 89 balls for 1,421 yards and seven touchdowns.

Jeffery posted back-to-back 1,000-plus yard campaigns in 2013 and 2014, but by 2015, injuries started to mount, and the St. Matthews, S.C. native appeared in just 21 contests total over his final two seasons in Chicago.
