Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz has taken significant steps forward in his recovery from a torn ACL and LCL over the last several months.

This has pushed forward the goal of him being ready to the field in time for the season opener in just under the next three months. According to Zach Berman of Philly.com, Wentz has once again chimed in on his recovery process by quoting fellow Philadelphia professional sports star 76ers All-Star center Joel Embiid by using his now infamous phrase.

It has been a continual step forward for Wentz as he has stayed ahead of schedule in his recovery process that has the team quite optimistic about him hitting his target date of the 2018 regular season opener.

There is still some time until then, which has given way to him taking more the precautionary approach of not rushing things because of the type of injuries that he is currently recovering from that he's around six months removed.

The Eagles have also placed no pressure on him to be back in the fold by the start of the season given the presence of Nick Foles, who has shown he can lead the team to success in his absence. Foles has plenty of comfortable orchestrating the offense any number of games that are necessary this upcoming season.

Wentz hasn't experienced any setbacks along the way that has only lifted more optimism around the situation that could see him on the field much sooner than many would anticipate for the significant injury that he dealing with that typically takes between the range of nine months to a year to recover fully.

With Wentz holding such a positive mindset about the entire rehab process could lend well to him being ready to give it a go by Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons.
