Philadelphia Eagles Carson Wentz has been rehabbing much of the offseason and is excited that he is finally healthy heading into the regular season. Wentz was sidelined last season with a back injury but has no limitations heading into camp and that is good news for the Eagles that has Super Bowl aspirations.

Wentz talked about coming back from injury and said that he actually took for granted being healthy and didn't really appreciate how much he would miss competing with the guys during camp.

“Before the injury, it’s something you take for granted,” Wentz said of camp, via Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News. “You appreciate it more. It’s exciting to get out here day one and get going right away.”

Wentz expects that he will play at least some in the preseason but also notes that it isn't his decision and he will leave it up to Doug Pederson to make the final call. Wentz also doesn't feel any more pressure to stay healthy even with Nick Foles gone and the team not really having a trustworthy backup.

“Every season has expectations. Every season has pressure. I don’t think it’s really that much different, in that regard,” he said. “There’s always pressure. Whether there’s this much or this much, it doesn’t really change, at least for me, the way I approach it.”

Even though Wentz doesn't feel extra pressure, if he can't stay healthy there are going to be even more questions about his durability and it will be a disappointing season for the Eagles.
