The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off one of the more impressive Super Bowl runs in recent NFL history. However, there has been some speculation about their new dynamic under center as they welcome back both of their star quarterbacks from last season in Carson Wentz and Nick Foles.

Although each player may have something the other desires going into the 2018 season, Foles says there are no feelings of indifference toward each other thanks to their friendship, according to ESPN's Tim McManus:

“It's definitely a different dynamic, but at the same time, it wouldn't work if him and I weren't such great friends and understanding of each other. That's a big piece of it that people don't probably understand, because it gets a little tricky — but not for us because we're handling it like men in the locker room. At the end of the day, we want the team to be successful whoever is back there at quarterback.”

Wentz added that their faith is also what helps them coexist on the same team.

“That kind of just breaks down every barrier, every wall,” Wentz said. “We realize there's so much more to this life and such a bigger purpose out there than arguing over a lot of little things.”

There were rumors flying about Foles' trade value after leading Philadelphia to their first Super Bowl win. However, Philadelphia decided to hold onto their backup for the time being. As a result, there was speculation regarding who would be the starter moving forward.

Needless to say, it did not take long for head coach Doug Pederson to declare that this is still Wentz's team moving forward. Now the Eagles have the luxury of having their cake and eating it too with both players still on the roster.

As nice as it is to see these players working together, it will not be long before Foles starts his next chapter elsewhere as a potential starter. After all, it is not often that Super Bowl MVP quarterbacks end up on the market.
