Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has always been known to talk a big game, even about Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.

Despite just being in only his third season in the league, Ramsey has developed a reputation as one of the NFL's most outspoken players — in a league filled with a lot of outspoken personalities.

So, it's no surprise he offered his thoughts on Wentz. When Wentz came in 3rd on NFL Top 100 Players of 2018 voting, Ramsey, who was picked three spots after Wentz in the 2016 NFL Draft, said he was “happy” for his classmate, but he wasn't quite sure Wentz has proven enough to check in this high on the list. In an article from PennLive, Ramsey said

“I'm not sold on it. I'm not sold on it yet,” Ramsey said. “Top 10, I would be cool with him being at top 10.”

Wentz, on the other hand, was very diplomatic in his response to those comments,

“You hear about the comments, everyone kind of points those out,” Wentz told reporters. “A lot of people say a lot of things, and I don't overanalyze it. I know he's a good player. I have a lot of respect for him and how he plays the game.”

The Eagles play the Jaguars in Week 8, a matchup between two teams who have been struggling to rack up wins given the expectations for them to start the season. The Eagles are currently 3-4 after a 21-17 loss to the Carolina Panthers, a game where they led 17-0 after three quarters. The Jaguars are also coming a a loss of their own after being given a 20-7 beatdown by the Houston Texans.
