DeSean Jackson is back for his second go-around with the Philadelphia Eagles, but this one is a heck of a lot different from the first time.

For starters, Carson Wentz was not even in college when Jackson's first stint with the Eagles (which began in 2008) ended in 2013, so Wentz has no idea what it's like to play with Jackson.

But now, the quarterback is getting an idea of what it's like to throw to the wide receiver.

“Chemistry grows in a million different ways,” Wentz said, according to Jeff Neiburg of The Delaware News Journal. “Physical reps are second to none, but just talking through everything. … I feel in a really good spot with him.”

Wentz also said that it's “different” playing with someone like Jackson, so that it might take a little while for them to get their timing down as a pair.

Plus, the Eagles didn't really have a deep threat in their passing game in 2018, and Jackson absolutely represents that, so this will certainly be an adjustment for Wentz and Philadelphia's offense as a whole.

Jackson spent the 2018 campaign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing in 12 games and catching 41 passes for 774 yards and four touchdowns.

The 32-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of California, was originally selected by the Eagles in the second round (49th pick overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.

He made three Pro Bowls during his time in Philly before heading to the Washington Redskins in 2014, where he spent three seasons. He then joined the Buccaneers for two years before heading back to the Eagles.
