The Philadelphia Eagles have had a great run of success the past couple of years. They won the Super Bowl two years ago, and they won a playoff game this past season. They'll mostly be running it back with the same group in 2019, but there have been a few notable subtractions and additions.

Nick Foles will be missing, of course, but they also have a revamped group of pass rushers. Chris Long retired last week, and the Eagles traded away Michael Bennett to the Patriots earlier this offseason. Long and Bennett combined for 15.5 sacks last season, and they gobbled up a lot of the snaps along the defensive line last season.

It's two big losses, and a lot of production that Philly will have to replace. That being said, Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz isn't too concerned:

“That’s business as usual for us,” Jim Schwartz said Tuesday, per Paul Domowitch of philly.com. Domowitch notes that it was Schwartz's first time speaking to reporters since late last season. “There’s a challenge every year trying to replace certain production. We’ll miss those guys. They were an important part of what we did.

“But that’s just life in the NFL. Change is nothing new. You’re going to have some roster turnover and you have to deal with it.”

This is nothing out of the ordinary for a veteran defensive coordinator like Schwartz, and it doesn't sound like he's sweating it too much.

The Eagles spent big on Malik Jackson in free agency, and they also brought back Vinny Curry after he spent one year with the Buccaneers. Schwartz is certainly looking forward to having them:

“We’ve added some experienced players. It’s good to get Vinny back. It really looks like he hasn’t missed a beat from where he was when he last played a game for us two years ago.”

The Eagles should be a formidable squad once again in 2019.
