Longtime Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson is back with the NFC East franchise. Though his first stint in Philadelphia appeared to end abruptly, Jackson recently admitted that he has always had a good relationship with the team's front office and namely Eagles executive vice president of football operations Howie Roseman.

“One thing I can say about Howie Roseman, we always had a great relationship,” Jackson said, via The Morning Call. “Even when I went on and played in Washington and played in Tampa Bay, anytime I was able to see him on the field pregame, he always came up and just gave me a hug. Once again, it was a bittersweet situation. We all know how I was released.”

Despite leaving Philadelphia for the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jackson says that he has kept his eye on the Eagles since his original departure.

“Obviously I’ve been keeping my eye on them the past couple years,” Jackson said, via The Morning Call. “They’ve been doing some great things here. … I can only imagine what it would be like to come back here and win a Super Bowl, so that’s kind of what made me be so happy and excited about reuniting with the Eagles.”

In the time that Jackson spent away from the Eagles, the NFC East franchise infamously won its first-ever Super Bowl title, thanks to an epic performance from current Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. The Eagles have notably tallied back-to-back trips to the postseason.
