There has been plenty of speculation regarding potential landing spots for New York Jets safety Jamal Adams. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has since wasted no time in putting his recruiting hat on.

Jackson took to Instagram to make his pitch by featuring a picture of Adams in an Eagles jersey on his story.

Jamal Adams, Eagles

Jackson's interest should hardly come as any surprise considering his high expectations for the Eagles in the 2020 NFL season. There is no question that adding a two-time All-Pro like Adams to this thin secondary would help pay huge dividends to make his Super Bowl dreams come to fruition.

Of course, there is also the added benefit of keeping Adams away from NFL East rival Dallas Cowboys. the Cowboys have been pegged as the frontrunner to acquire Adams' services and he has added fuel to the fire by expressing his mutual interest. Bringing him to the Eagles would help kill two birds with one stone for Jackson.

Although Adams still has two years remaining on his current deal, he has made it clear that he wants to be traded by the Jets. The Eagles have put an emphasis on shoring up some much-needed cap space this offseason so it remains to be seen if they are able to meet his demands for a trade since they would also likely have to give up some heavy draft capital in order to make it happen.

Adams is coming off a stellar 2019 campaign that saw him register 75 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and an interception en route to first-team All-Pro honors, despite missing two games with an ankle injury.
